Having recently gained the 'Investors in People' accolade, our commitment to our team at Consort Travel is as important as ever. We focus on excellence in customer service and we take all members of staff on our European holidays with us - just so you can speak first hand to the experts who have visited your chosen destination!

 

 

Having previously worked in the South of France, Bev joined Consort in 1992 and enjoys the responsibility for all sorts of things... From writing the brochure, updating the website and placing adverts in the media to visiting resorts and setting up new holidays.  Bev loves all aspects of working at Consort Travel and is proud to be a part of such a great team.  Being in love with Italy, she has visited the beautiful country every year since she joined Consort and Lake Garda is a favourite - with Sorrento coming a close second!  Bev's most recent trip was to Hungary to see Consort's new destination for 2008 - Lake Balaton, which was considered "stunning".

The longest serving employee, Rachel joined Consort Travel in 1987 and has witnessed many changes as the company has grown.  Head of Consort's incessantly busy Administration Team, she also enjoys the opportunity, from time to time, to get away and visit the destinations in our brochure.  Some of her favourites not only include the French Riviera and in complete contrast, the Austrian Tyrol, but  also Italy.  The fantastic landscape in Tuscany, the remarkable Sorrento coast and the island of Capri are truly unforgettable and definitely top her list. 

Lynne joined the company way back in November 1988, when there were only four in the team, Lynne made the fifth member of the team. The company has since made many changes and grown over the years to a team of twelve. Lynne has always enjoyed each tour that she has been on although Sorrento holds quite special memories, particularly the Amalfi Drive and Pompeii - very atmospheric!  Tuscany also has beautiful scenery, especially Siena and San Gimignano. Croatia is another favourite destination of Lynne's, she has visited both the north and the south of the country  - "it is a beautiful country with lovely people".  All the tours have such special highlights it's hard to list them all.

Carey joined the company nine years ago as Receptionist and has now been working in the busy Administration Department for the last eight years. She particularly enjoys talking to and meeting our clients. She has travelled on our tour to Austria with her husband and children and is looking forward to a return trip soon.  Her ambition is to travel on our Russian River Cruise next year.

 

Amy Jenkins - Reservations & Admin Department

Michelle has worked at Consort Travel for seven years. Since starting she has travelled extensively experiencing the breathtaking beauty of Lake Garda, the dramatic coastline of Sorrento, the green heart of Italy - Umbria, the soft golden sand of Lido Di Jesolo, the unique beauty of Austria, the scenic promenades and sea front cafes of Croatia and ultimately a stunning tour of Boston & New England with our partners in the travel industry Collette Worldwide.  Thanks to Consort she has broadened her horizons and is continually looking at new and exciting destinations, although Italy still remains her favourite.

 

Jane joined the Consort Travel operations team in 2006 and went on her first trip - the Portugal 'Coach & Cruise' - soon after.  Since then she has been to Lake Garda, Tuscany and, most recently, visited our new destination in the French Alps.  Jane is also looking forward to Christmas, which she will spend with a Consort group in the Black Forest.  Her favourite destination is Italy but - after a few more tours with Consort - this might change!

With nearly eight years experience in customer service, Joanne is proud to head up the very important Customer Relations Department at Consort. She combines this busy job with her hectic family life and - thanks to Consort - has enjoyed wonderful holidays in Lake Garda, Sorrento, Tuscany and, most recently, Lido di Jesolo.

Nicola has been with Consort Travel for over five years now and enjoys the customer contact that is part of her daily life in the Customer Relations Department. She particularly enjoys offering advice to clients and discussing their holiday choices.  During her time at Consort, Nicola has enjoyed trips to Monte Carlo & Italy's Mediterranean Riviera, Sorrento and Lido di Jesolo.   

Sharon joined Consort two years ago and handles most of our customer enquiries via the telephone. She has enjoyed holidays in the Austrian Tyrol and in Sorrento, Italy. Sorrento was a particular favourite and it was here that she fell in love with the atmospheric island of Capri and can't wait to return. Sharon has also recently visited the Grand Hotel Europe in Lucerne, which is featured in our new 2005 Summer brochure.
